The Experience
Embark from Apooiti for a private sailing experience in the heart of Raiatea’s lagoon.
Enjoy approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour of sailing along a stunning reef with breathtaking views of Huahine. Keep an eye out for stingrays, sea turtles, and occasionally reef sharks, which can often be spotted from the boat and even through the catamaran’s trampoline nets.
The boat will then anchor in a shallow turquoise-water area. You can swim directly from the boat, go snorkeling, or simply relax in this exceptional setting. The area is shallow enough to walk in the water while enjoying the beauty of the lagoon and the view of a magnificent motu.
A snack platter featuring fresh fruit, cookies, and dried fruit will be served on board.
After this relaxing break, enjoy a final sail back to Raiatea.

What is the difference between the group half-day and the private version?
With the private charter, the sailboat is exclusively reserved for your group. You sail without other passengers, at your own pace, in a more intimate atmosphere. The itinerary can be slightly tailored to your preferences and the day’s conditions.
What does the private half-day price include?
The flat rate of €755 includes the professional skipper and crew, fresh drinks (water, soft drinks), a snack platter (fresh fruit, cookies and dried fruit), snorkeling equipment, a deck rinse shower and ambient music. Meals, sunscreen, towels and transfers are not included.
Is there a swimming and snorkeling stop?
Yes. Like the group excursion, the private half-day includes an anchorage in a shallow turquoise-water area near a beautiful motu. You can swim from the boat, snorkel or simply walk in the water and take in the scenery. Equipment is available on board.
What are the departure times?
The private half-day departs in the morning (8:30 AM–12:00 PM) or in the afternoon (1:00 PM–4:30 PM), depending on availability and weather conditions.
Can we board from the cruise ship dock?
Yes, boarding from the Uturoa cruise ship dock is possible in some cases. Please mention your preferred boarding point when booking and Sailinity will confirm the available options.
How many guests maximum for the private half-day?
Up to 8 guests, adults and children combined. The flat rate of €755 applies regardless of group size.
