The Experience

Departing from Apooiti Marina, enjoy an authentic sailing experience in the heart of Raiatea’s lagoon.

This excursion lasts approximately 3.5 hours and can accommodate up to 8 passengers.

Enjoy around 1 hour of sailing along the reef, taking in stunning lagoon views. Keep an eye out for stingrays, sea turtles, and occasionally reef sharks. Thanks to the catamaran’s trampoline nets, you may also spot marine life directly beneath your feet while sailing.

The boat then anchors in a shallow area near Motu Mahaea, where you will have approximately 1 hour to swim, snorkel, or simply walk through the crystal-clear turquoise waters near the motu.

Snacks and refreshing drinks will be served on board before setting sail for approximately 1 hour on the return journey to Apooiti Marina.

The itinerary and sailing times may vary depending on weather and wind conditions.
